A massive Louis XV style chest of drawers, second half of the 19th century.
A beautiful model, the so-called Commode Galbée dresser with an excellent quality marble top, 2 drawers on top and 2 large drawers on the bottom. The front and sides are curved and have beautiful bronze decorations. The piece of furniture is in need of restoration. The marble top is cracked and the brass lines are missing.
