A one-door cabinet made in the Boulle technique. Inlays of chrysanthemum in brass engraving are a typical Boulle way of decorating furniture. This object is a characteristic representative of the school of this accomplished ebenist. The filong of the door is edged with brass oval moulding. On the upper rim, unusual floral applications in bronze. The original top made of white Carrara marble has been preserved.
