A chest of drawers from the Louis XV/Louis XVI transitional period, second half of the 18th century . Made by one of the best French cabinetmakers of the period Jean Lapie (master certificate obtained 1762r), JME. A very high quality piece of furniture. It was restored in our workshop. Made of rosewood and mahogany with frieze and counter-frieze, topped with marble "Rouge des Flandres" of the period (!). One lock is missing.
